Benefit from change in GST rates
Earlier, 28 percent GST was levied on bikes and scooters up to 350cc, but now it has been reduced to 18 percent. Honda has fully passed on the benefit of this change to the customers. That is, now you will get popular models like Honda Activa, Shine, Unicorn, CB350 cheaper than ever. At the same time, tax on bikes above 350cc has been increased from 31 percent to 40 percent, but the company has not yet announced the new prices of these premium bikes.
How much savings were made on models
The GST benefits available on different models of Honda are also quite attractive. There will be a saving of up to Rs 7,874 on Honda Activa 110, while there will be a reduction of up to Rs 8,259 on Activa 125. Similarly, customers will get the benefit of up to Rs 7,443 on Honda Shine 125 and up to Rs 8,447 on SP125.
Talking about big bikes, there will be a benefit of up to Rs 9,948 on Honda Unicorn, up to Rs 10,635 on SP160 and up to Rs 13,026 on Honda Hornet 2.0. Apart from this, savings of up to Rs 18,598 on CB350 H’ness and up to Rs 18,857 on CB350RS are possible. The maximum benefit will be available on the CB350 model, in which the price has been reduced by up to Rs 18,887.
